1976 Olympic White Stratocaster direct from its first owner, who bought it at the time in the Brussels branch of the famous Parisian shop run by Victor Flore, as evidenced by the "Euromusic / Parys Flore" sticker on the guitar's original non-Fender case, which also bears a few "BOSS" stickers.

The pots, the frets, the strap buttons, one of the neck plate screws and the jack plate screws are not original, but everything else is, including the back plate and vibrato arm. The back plate screws are missing. Also, the pickup and pot cavities have been shielded to prevent the typical 60-cycle hum and buzz associated with single-coil pickups -- with shielding foil that has not been glued and can therefore be easily removed if desired.

The original pickups measure Ω 5.62K in neck position, Ω 5.66K in middle position and Ω 5.64K in bridge position, and are stamped to indicate the 11th or 12th week of 1976.

The main neck code stamps ("0903X0765") points to a maple fretboard Stratocaster neck built on the "fifth day of the seventh week of 1976", while the serial number 654969 on the neck plate points to late 1975. Finally, the neck pocket bears a 196x stamp pointing to a final QC check of the guitar during the 19th week of 1976.

This guitar plays and sounds superbly well, like what you'd expect from a 70s maple Strat: airy and funky!

Aesthetically, it's far from perfect, but it retains (for the most part) its original finish (the photos speak for themselves). Note that the "issue" between the E and A tuning machines is not a hole but a superficial chip.
