Fender Stratocaster from late 1959 / early 1960 from its second owner, who acquired it in 1968 and sanded down the original finish in late 1969 to give it a 'hippie' natural finish...
 
The wonderful Rio rosewood slab board and the original pickups and electronics (3 pots dated 5948) produce a truly breathtaking vintage sound. 
 
No pencil mark on the neck (typical of the period), correct nail holes in the body... the real deal without a shadow of a doubt!

This Strat is fully original (including frets) except for the pickguard (old Fender reissue green guard) and the vibrato arm (changed in 1969).

Comes with a vintage Excelsior Hardware hard case, probably from the late 70's / 80's, in pristine state.
